The Arizona Black Film Showcase is a three-day event running from Friday March 26, 2010 through Sunday, March 28, 2010. The Showcase will be held in downtown Tempe, Arizona at the MADCAP Theaters.

Turbo Kick

Precious, the movie (My Review)
This was a remarkable and unforgetable movie to see. An overweight teenage girl who could not read was pregnant with her second child by her father and abused physically and emotionally by her mother. Yet she embodied so much hope, optimisim, intelligence, and strength through it all.; because she knew (and dreamed of) better days will come. This is a movie that makes you think twice about your own life and the relationships and things you may take for granted. Things may not be as bad as they seem; but if they are, don’t give up hope better days will come. Everyone should see this movie.
